I've been asked a few times on DA what I do for a living and if I drew this or that.
Here's a brief overview of artistic exploits.
I started our working for four different artists. Scott Williams,Whilce Portacio, Jim Lee and Joe Chiodo.
I did various jobs for them including backgrounds, story development and designs.
I've worked for Marvel on various projects. Most of them pretty ill-fated.
I've been an inker for DC.
I created the comic Q- Unit
I drew the comic Blood Strike and chipped in on many other Extreme titles. I also did the designs and layouts for the Battlestar Galactica comic.
Drew the Perry Rhodan comic that was published in Germany.
I created and published the comic Deity, Saint Angel and Catseye.
I freelanced for the Disney Imagineering on a theme park they built in Japan as well as one they are planning to build in China and a series of high-end arcades they built here in the US.
That's just to name a few...
I currently work for a toy company. We create toys for Spiderman 3 and many other Marvel related properties. We are also creating toys for the next Shrek movie and for Jessie James of Monster Garage fame.
My heart is always with comics and I am in the midst of creating my next graphic novel.
More on that very soon.
best,
k

ECB Ends With A Bang
As most of you know I started my comic Emerald City Blues at a 24 hour comic challenge event a couple years back. This weekend I'm going to attempt to finish it at another! I'll be at The Comic Bug in Manhattan Beach this Saturday 10/4 from 4pm till issue 4 is done (or I fall down from exhaustion). If you've ever wanted to be part of making a comic book come on down and help me fill in the blacks, clean up pages and maybe ink some backgrounds. I'll have some ECB prints with me as well.

Back from Houston Finishing up ECB 4
Spent last weekend in Houston for the Amazing Comic Con show. I had a fantastic time! I met lots of people who follow my work and introduced it to many others.
Finally focusing on finishing Issue #4 of ECB Emerald City Blues. Beginning to think it may take a 5th issue to wrap it up. It's taken forever to finish it mostly because I keep thinking up new ideas that I want to add to it. I wanted to say thank you to everyone who has read and supported it by buying issues of it. ECB had some to represent a transitional time in my creative development and I have enjoyed sharing it with everyone one Deviant Art.
I'm hoping to get it done by this ye
