This a picture from the origin of Rostam's father Zal.
I've not drawn full pencils in months so getting back into the mindset has been a struggle. Despite that I like how this page turned out.

Rostam is a heroic character from the Persian Book of Kings, The Shahnameh. Written by the poet Ferdowsi.
I have drawn three comics based on the Shahnameh featuring Rostam and I am now working on my fourth book in the series. It's an award winning comic and it has been used as a teaching tool at various universities.

it has some little differences from the original stories of shahnameh but I love it ... well done
