It's taken some time but I finally got around to revising my coloring tutorial. This is a basic getting started tutorial that will hopefully get you going the right direction. If you have any questions feel free to post them.

Thanks for explaining the basics! It's not much now since it doesn't really explain the tools and settings, as well as how to use them, but it still helps a little bit.

You control the flow of your airbrush tool and you can make sure you have selected the piece so it doesn't go out of where you want it to go.
