Blue Knights Layout

This is a layout done by I drew over it digitally. I like working over other artists layouts some times because it allows me to focus more on the art. After doing a layout like this I would either print it out and light box it over to Bristol board or print it in blue line directly onto comic book paper. Tighten it a bit and start inking.

Why don't I just ink it digitally and cut out the paper? I still think inking on paper has it's own special look. Until I can replicate exactly what I do digitally it will have to be part digital/part old school.

This layout is done for the comic Blue Knights. It's a fun idea about what it's like to be a cop in fantasy world. Lord of the Rings meets Training Day. So cool.
